"Snow Geese" Beautiful Snow Geese migrate through the entire state of Nebraska. They breed in the arctic and migrate through Canada and the U.S. to winter in our southern states and Mexico. They can be seen throughout Nebraska traveling in huge, noisy flocks at high altitude. Armand's drawing shows a pair of Snow Geese on the bank of the Platte River. You can also see Snow Geese in the thousands at DeSoto Bend during the migration season.
